Subject: Turbo Trainer Question

My brand new TACX Mag trainer arrived yesterday - so I obviously scrapped the planned track intervals and did a bike/run brick.  I honestly love the thing (at least for now).

My question is - do people switch out the trainer skewer or just leave it on the bike?  I think switching it out isn't too much of a hassle.  At the moment I don't have a dedicated trainer tire ... much less wheel with cassette.

I never switch it out.  Guess i'm just lazy, but how much of a difference is it going to make really?

I switch out the skewer for races, that's about it.  Otherwise, trainer skewer and trainer tire stay on.

I just switch out the rear wheel. One's set up for the trainer with a trainer tire and the trainer skewer and one's set up with a road tire and the skewer that came with the OEM wheels.
