He then stated that he had done it with one of his own foster children, and brought the child into CPS with the leash., & people leashing their kids. I do have to make one comment on this one though. We have a child with special needs that has autism and was a runner and didn't care when and where she took off. Unfortunately for safety sake we had to do this. I only think it should be used if it is for safety, not for the convenience of walking your kid around like they are a pet! |

I really don't understand why it is such a big deal. If there is a living thing you have to take care of, that would not be able to take care of itself alone, you should do whatever you want to keep track of it. We would always hide in clothes racks and run around, so I think it is smart to leash kids. Sometimes I think I should still be on a leash. |

See it all the time in Florida. But, I wouldn't slap anyone...maybe a firm spanking! How about the people who believe if they can get mostly square in the lane before you hit them they are not at fault for cutting you off. or The ones that rush through a stop sign just so they can get in front of you, never mind there is no one behind you, then proceed to do 10 mph under the speed limit. |

People do this leaving the work cafeteria every day. It's a hallway and they walk 3-4 abreast and I just want to get by and get to the stairs!!!!!!!!!! (while they're strolling to the elevator) Or those that simply stand around talking, blocking the only path out of an area. This drives me nuts, when they are 2-3-4 wide, OR if it is 1 person walking slowly and weaving so you can't pass. |

They will still do idiotic stuff to upset other poeple no matter where they go. Though, i would not mind a good spanking. I do like it rough!! |

Member 22 Gilbert, AZ | Subject: RE: If you could slap stupid people The woman in front of me on my way home from work texting and driving as she swerves into the bike lane. Lucky no one was there. I pull up beside her at the next stop light and she continues to text. She puts down the phone for a moment and as the light turns green, picks it up and continues to type away.

Master 2083 Houston, TX | Subject: RE: If you could slap stupid people I can handle stupid and I can handle not paying attention, and I can even handle inconsiderate. About the only people I would slap are those that try to force their own lifestyle choices onto others, or otherwise make someone else live under their own code of ethics. That's just because it's intentional. Absentmindedness and selfishness I can deal with. |

Actually I think you nailed it, I can be both absent minded, and sometimes selfish, apart from the love of my life, no-one's allowed to slap spank me back into order :-) and I do try to minimize both anyway.....

Master 1890 Gig Harbor | Subject: RE: If you could slap stupid people The 3 idiot wanna be cyclists on their "cruiser" bikes. They were enjoying the scenery at the bottom of the hill I was screaming down in aero position, as I am approaching them, the decide it's time to ride again and hop out onto the bike trail without looking - and proceed to ride 3 abreast. I had to come out of aero, lock up my brakes and lost all momentum for the uphill I was going to try and fly over. Or the 2 newbie rollerbladers that were going down hill in front of me the other day....they were zig zagging all the way from the left to the right side of the road! When I shouted on your left, the guy freaked out and went into the dirt! I got a small chuckle out of that one. |
