Does anyone have an unofficial distance for the Oly bike course? My bike computer wasn't working... curious about my pace. Thanks!

I thought I heard them announce that it as at 21.3 miles or 23.1 because the start of the second loop was between the two hills which was about a mile from the finish (.88 miles on the mapping tool here on BT).  So, you would have had to do that distance two more times (out and back) to get to the turn-around, so you were at least two miles short of a full 25.

that would make sense, I could see big problems if you have racers flying into a turnaround at the officially start of the loop as well. Safety reasons, I could see them moving the turnaround up the road.

Looking at the Sprint results, I think they missed the 5K turnaround as well, unless a couple of dudes just got really stupid fast.

My Garmin showed 21.3 miles for the bike course, plus I thought I heard the announcer say something that the bike course was a little more than 21 miles... that was the first that I heard it was going to be less than the 40k.

Sorry for the all caps message up there. Got a lil panicky. It all worked out

My bike computer had 21.5. Funny thing was, once I considered my average speed and figured out what would have been a likely time for my bike split with 3 more miles added on, then extended that out to what my likely overall time might have been...it turned out that was the exact time displayed on the finish clock as I ran over the chip mat! It's in the pictures. crazy

Anyway, what a great race, huh? Loved the weather that they ordered!
