IowaMan,

As short as Pete's response is, the link will give you all you need to know and more about any of Garmin's products.

I don't buy any piece of sporting electronics before checking DCRainMaker's site first.

Having said that, I have the 910 and it's fantastic!  Especially since the latest firmware update.

Pretty spot on for the swimming function with only a couple of missed/added lengths in the last 70K meters.

Some have had problems with the 'current pace' function, but I don't use it.  I use average lap on one mile intervals and you can shorten it to .1 miles I think so that's a workaround if you need that type of functionality - which may have been fixed on this last update.

All in all, it's great and if you have the means, and inclination to use all the data, I recommend it.

I love Garmin 910XT's fun features, particularly those that allows you to run in competition with a virtual racer. it also feels good to be able to compete with your own training record so you will visibly notice just how much you have really improved.

For keen swimmers, it can even continue providing you with the necessary data to help you monitor your performance better even when you are underwater. This is so much more than a water-resistant watch that many of us triathletes would love to wear.

I have the 910XT and I really do not think there are many cons, but would list them as follows:

Swimming-make sure to set indoor pool or open water and if indoor, set the right meters or custom length, also, if you pause be sure to pause OR take at least a 10 second pause for it to register if you are on Auto Resume, also-do not try to share a lane and use your Garmin, mine has picked up strange info and strokes I am not doing when I have shared a lane (but that does not happen often anyway)

Biking-hard to see display while moving, you can turn watch face to you, but be careful not to stop timer if you are in the aero bars and turn the face to you.

The rest is all GOOD! I love this watch. Sealed

Love mine, when riding I put mine on basically upside down (lack of a better term) with the face on the inside of my arm.  Makes it easier to read without having to turn my wrist as much while in aero.  Still have managed to stop the timer once or twice but never an issue.  Also, I turn the backlight on, makes it a bit easier to read when in the areas with shadows.
