I did the race last year and I wore a wetsuit.

On the bike course for the Olympic do you come back into the park for the turnaround?

It looks like you don't.  I do think you have to come back to turn around for the run though.  It will be very tempting to just run over the finish line as the run is my least favorite section.

I took a look at the hfp website and it looks like the bike course has changed again - it looks like it is a two loop oly course now. If it is (like most http races ) you do have to come in and turn arOund. Last years course went north I think and several sprint distance folks missed the turn off. Obviously doubl check the course route before starting

Anyone else think the swim was a bit short? My swim time was ridiculously fast... so much so that I find it hard to believe.

yeah, I mentioned as much in my race report (although there was still a wide spread in times and no top times that seemed freakishly out of place )

I PR'ed the swim big time as well.  My 910 (on wrist) said .78 miles from start to T1 for what that is worth (not much).  The track looks ok (ie better than usual).  Looks like it didn't get about 100 feet on the 2nd loop.

I couldn't help having the feeling that I was cutting the course based on not going around the orange exit buoy @ end of the 1st lap and heading straight for the next turn.

HFP has a lot going for them, but it seems like they aren't executing as well as they used to, or I'm just noticing problems after doing their races enough times.  I'm used to the food tent being nasty and picked over by the time I get in, but selling drinks at the finish...that just didn't feel right.

I just created my race report.  Unfortunately this seems to be an error in the Girls Tri Too results.  I only know my times for T2, the run, and overall.  Timing Chip error?  This was my 2nd triathlon.  I bettered my time by 6:20 in 5 weeks!
