Subject: Foam roll then stretch or vice versa

I'm mainly a cyclist (gasp... I know).  I was a triathlete a few years back and quite busy here in the forums but cycling has taken over.

 

So question.. foam rolling then stretching.. or stretching then foam rolling?

From most of what "i" read, foam roll, then stretch. However, you could roll, stretch, then roll...

I agree with the roll then stretch.  First, get the knots out and lengthen with the roller and then some easy stretching.

I always Roll / Use "the Stick" and then stretch.  and Roll again if I still feel knots in my mussels.

I stretched then rolled then stretched again because I wasn't sure what the order should be. I noticed I had a much better stretch when I did so after rolling. So now I'm a roll-stretch girl.
