Comments:

Plagued by nausea through most of the latter half of the run. Took an S-Cap every hour but may have needed more.
What would you do differently?:

No more Gatorade in the hydration pack. It is not going down well. Stick with Powerade Zero in the pack and get nutrition from gels and food.

This is a very well-run, small race through pretty scenery. It is a good course for first time trail runners because there is very little technical trail. Footing is good. The course is extremely well marked. It could also be a PR course because the roads make for a fast time. There are a few tough hills, though.

Course: The course is mostly dirt roads, with some grass and a small amount of single track. The footing is very good for a trail run. The course is fast despite the existence of several unpleasant hills and a waist-deep river crossing.
