none really. a few plymetric jumps and bounding. strides that was all.

Neighbors had lawn sprinklers on the runners! 2 water stations.
What would you do differently?:

speed work. train somewhat during day time to get used to running in humid, hot conditions

Warm down:

light stretching. chocolate milk (of course) some walking.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Really Humid. At 1 mile marker felt like I was breathing water. I run before the sun gets up so this is truly the first time I ran during daylight and with the humidity. need to work on this.

Event comments:

Great Family centered race! Bounce houses for kids. Water, drinks, fruit and pizza. free massage available. music. kids race after main event.
