So frustrated-I had 2 computers going and was "on hold" right from the jump. Refreshed a thousand times and still no luck-now sold out. Great.....

In as well, thankful for autofill and copy/paste.  Only had a hiccup with my USAT membership (renewed it on the fly).  Other than that, ready to train!  Will be staying at my in-laws condo right near the entrance of the state park on the run route.  Who's going to start the 2013 race thread?

Same here with the "on hold" right from the jump...luck of the draw I guess, very bummed.  Will probably fly or drive down next year to stand in line on Sunday morning.  Good luck to those that made the cut!

Ironman.com says it was online for 1 minute.  Fastest sellout to date.

Are you sure about the 1 minute?  I checked a hour later and saw the main site still had openings  or it didn't say "limited".   I got in yesterday.  It was at 12:00pm, maybe 12:01pm.  However, I was already logged into active and waited for the register button to show up.  But with people signing up before the race for the following year, online will be have even fewer spots.  Is this new this year?  I know people could have signed up after the race for the following year.

I thought all Mdot races allowed racers racing that year to sign up for next year on the day prior to the race.  At least, IMFL has always allowed that.  So, on Friday anyone racing Saturday can sign up for next year.  On Sunday it's volunteers and anyone on site...then it goes online.

I was on at 1300 EST and registered by 1305, it was still open after I finished. #6 for me, 1st IMFL, booked a room at the Shores of Panama as it was recommended by folks on BT.

Hubby and I were both on separate computers ready at 1PM. He instantly got in and I immediately got a sold out response then followed by a "on hold" response. I hit retry for abot 12 minutes and then got in too!  We are super excited to race this together.

I was online right at 12:00 and got on and registered immediately after that.  I suppose if someone's session timed out than that's how the folks got in later than 1 minute.  This is my third triathlon and first Ironman...super stoked!  Any suggestions for a first timer?

Anyone know what the date is for IMFL 2014? Crossing my fingers for Nov. 8th but it will probably be Nov. 1st.

I think it's always the first Saturday in November so the smart money is on Nov 1.
