Subject: Long Island cyclists

Has anyone ridden the Loop, Ocean Parkway, or the Robert Moses Causeway?

Just curious if anyone knows/thinks those roads are cyclist safe ... think 6:30am-9:30am Sunday mornings ... 

I swim at Lido at Sunrise now on Sundays with my brother - than we drive to Old Westbury, Heckshire or Cedar Creek ... just looking for a fun ride that we can do right out of the wetsuits.

Very unsafe and illegal I believe. No shoulder on any of those roads and cars typically travel in 65mph range.
