i bought a profile air drink system for my aero bars, however, they don't fit. my cervelo didn't come with a bottle cage attached so i'm thinking about getting a dual bottle holder for the back of the saddle. any thoughts for those that currently have it? is it difficult to adjust to (riding and reaching backwards, and placing the bottle back in)? i spoke with someone who said, "once you use it, you can't go back to regular bottle cages."

I have the behind-the-seat bottle holder. Works fine, but if I am only using one bottle I put it in the holder in front of me. Took me a while to get used to reaching behind for a bottle,

I want to get one of those bottles for the aero bars.  What is the reason it didn't fit, are they universal or just made for one type of aero bar?  I've got twin bottles behind the seat, but I like staying on the aero bars a lot and figure the front bottle system with the straw would work best for long distance races.

hi max, i have profile carbon stryke bars on top of cervelo bull horn bars, and they didn't fit. apparently they're made specifically for profile century bats and other "one piece" bars. they do have an optional bracket which will modify it onto any aerobars, but my local tri shop didn't have it.

I have a Cervelo Dual and I have a Jetstream NXT Water Bottle that fits perfectly between the aerobars. It fits so well that I didn't even have to attach the strap to hold it in place. It works well for sipping while still in the aero position.

I have the Cervelo P2K with the Profile Design Aero Drink System. I used to use the rubber bands to hold the bottle in place, but they flew off when I put them on wrong during a duathlon. I went to the bracket and have never had a problem. By the way, I have the standard Syntace aerobars that come with the P2K.

I just bought a profile bottle for my profile aerolite bars.  It would have fit in between the bars with only the rubberbands, but I alos paid $10 for the bracket, and the bottle fits even better.

PS - do you need to clean the mesh baffling (that goes inside the bottle) every time you use it?  Especially if you have had other than water in the bottle?  Run it through the dishwasher? Soak in the sink??

OK, thanks for the info!  I've got Syntace aero bars with the cowhorns on my Cannondale.  I'm going to look into getting something, hopefully a local shop has one in stock so I can see how it might fit before buying.  If not, I'll just take a chance and order something over the web, probably with the bracket too.
