Wanted to check who here runs barefoot?

I went on a 2 mile run Wednesday after OWS and since I had forgotten my running shoes I decided to go barefoot, thinking it can't be that bad.

Well...

Dude, you should've stopped after 0.5 miles!

HTFU is not always the answer.

Heal soon.

I think I am good for a run today or tomorrow.

I would have gone yesterday, but was too tired.

the funny thing, it felt 100% fine during the run!.

Never expected that, just my wifes face when she saw my feet made me think it was not the best of ideas.

Same thing happened to me when I did a nice beach run. Didn't feel anything until I stopped. It never dawned on me til after that, unlike the road, the sand moves under your foot. So it's as if your foot is in a shoe that doesn't fit properly. The movement at the pressure points creates blisters.

Ouch, I run barefoot once in a while, but that's never happened.  Were you running on sandpaper?  I also love vibrams, so I guess to each his own.
