#15 6 miles at the gym.

Somehow I thought this would suck more than it does so far. Kind of digging the daily run.

Originally posted by mrheathen #361 - 2.6 #362 - 3.2 #363 - 1.0 #364 - 3.2 #365 - 2.1 It was hard to drag myself out of the house yesterday until I realized what day it was. I'm proud of a year, though there are more 1 mile days that I would like, but I'm more proud of the almost $900 for cancere that I've raised through Charity Miles, donations, and race entries. I've decided I'm not stopping at $1000 (which is a pretty paltry sum, to be honest). I'll take a day off when cancer does. Thanks to the support and inspiration I get from all you here.

1 year!  You rock!  You rock even more for raising money!

Gets addicting doesn't it

#93 - 4.51 miles
#93B - 1.25 miles
#94 - 4.08 miles
#95 - 10.21 miles
#96 - 14.20 miles
#97 - 5.35 miles
#98 - 4.17 miles
#99 - 2.00 miles

And

#100 - 3.00 miles

I love this.  I am currently sick (nothing terrible) but it still gives me the motivation to do something.  There is no way I was going to let this streak slide for a little cold.  I would have to be tied down to a hospital bed, even then I'd try.

1/2 month left? You can start now and finish anytime you want! 30/30 days is the original challenge, which still stands, but there is no official start date, and definitely no end date, many people have streaked past the 30 days. If you would like, you are welcome to jump in anytime.

Congrats on the year, and if I recall you had a pretty good streak going before you started this one. And especially congrats on raising money for a good cause.

Great job on 100/100.

I try to tell myself that I can stop anytime but deep down I know I can't. I think that's one of the first steps really, just admitting that you have a problem. Or is it a problem? I'm going to go with no and keep going! Glad that I have some company.

#844- 6.2 mi recovery
#845- 8 mi treadmill
#846- 4 mi recovery
#847- 8 mi progression
#848- 10 mi treadmill
#849- 10 mi treadmill
#850- 18 mi. Another fun run. Trails still too icy so I ran down out of the park to the beach again. Missing the hill running, but the sand adds some challenge, especially when you go almost shin deep into quicksand left from the tide. My feet were cold after that!!

I have to do a bit of fast running I think, but I am happy with my mileage lately, feel good about 38 miles in the last 3 days.

I see people post pics from runs they go on and get somewhat jealous at times. I realized that this was a run that I would get jealous of and took some pics.

#16 in the books and once again on the treadmill....in a skirt darn it! Kids are home from school today and tomorrow due to wretched temps.

Tomorrow I'm going all crazy and running at a different Lifetime fitness just to give myself a different view! UGH! Lol

I am a new comer and it's been great to post here! Just trying to get a 28 day run challenge handled. The support has been great, and it's really motivating to see all the LONG streaks posters have!

yes, I agree. I did a similar challenge like this last year, and what's cool about it, is that even if you don't make it everyday...you do more than you intended because you have the challenge hanging over your head lol

count me in. today, a short run...3 miles

To imsore, wow those pictures are beautiful!

I'm really excited to see the new blood here. Keep it up, folks!

#366 - 2.3
#367 - 3.4

I wasn't going to try to run in the single digits yesterday morning, and the dog said "nope" to a walk before we got 100 yards. In the afternoon, I ran her around the block and then went back in to get another layer; getting back out the door was one of the hardest things I've done. Once I got into it and warmed up though, I didn't want to stop.

I will say that this is the first week in a long time I have envied people who have the option of a treadmill. I have no earthly idea how I'm getting tomorrow's run in.

This is cool. there are times when I don't brush my teeth 50 days in a row.

Thanks for the motivation everyone! Keep it up!

Wednesday - #570 - 2 miles...I was planning on doing more, and also swimming, but I just had a mental "blah" day.
Thursday - #571 - 4 miles progression/tempo run. Then 2K yards in the pool and 90 minutes on the trainer at home.

SGirl - yes, join in. Great group of people here. Knowing there are others out there doing the same thing keeps me going, honestly. I really didn't want to do *anything* on Wednesday, but at #570, there was no way I was going to miss an easy run just because I felt "blah". It's going to take a lot to make me stop now. I'm going to have to develop some kind of chronic problem, or I'm going to need to be in a hospital bed, otherwise I'm going to get out there for a short easy one no matter what the situation.

#17 at LTF Rochester in my sexy socks and new kicks. Not much better than the first run in new shoes! 4 mies. I was planning on swimming, but so many kids and families were there due to schools being closed I just stretched really well and split.

Congrats MIKEWOODS. Now about that oral hygiene...

#19 12.65 sweaty miles on the mill. It wasn't nearly as horrible as I expected. A really nice restorative yoga afterwards, then lunch with my training buddies. Mmmmm, lunch.
