Subject: Places to run in Anchorage

I am going to be in Anchorage for the next 3 weeks for a class. I will be at JBER and wondering if anyone knows of some decent places around there to run. I am hoping to avoid the gym if at all possible. I am not sure how much free time I will have so it may have to be close to post.

There is a significant trail system in Anchorage. The Coastal Trail is a big one, but there are others like the Chester Creek trail that go around town as well. If you like trail running, you may wish to go to Kincaid Park. Plenty of running to be had in Anchorage. there is also a running club in town if you want to connect with them.
