Now that most of us are in off season, I am planning to set up a p90x challenge group to keep us progressing through the winter. I find it to be a tremendous cross training tool for strength and plyometric work. I just finished my first HIM in Augusta. Feeling pretty good considering but sore.

Yoga X would certainly go a long way in helping flexibility.

I'm also a big fan of Kempo X.

Try p90x 2 it is more sports related and focuses on more core elements. I've done both and though v2 can be a little more dangerous because it is more technical (balancing on med balls while doing pushups, etc), the exercises are more geared towards things that will improve your performance.

I've never done P90x, but I love a challenge.

I have been considering it for a while, and since I need some dose of motivation in triathlon this might be just the right challenge.

Nice! p90x 2 does look more tailored to our needs. I plan to hit up p90x first to get the last 10lbs off and ensure no holiday gain. Definitely will hit up part 2 after. I also like Insanity, but I want to hybrid the program so as to build my base fitness until early Feb and then start ramping up for the season. No offseason!!! I have a Half Mary Savannah R'n'R this weekend. Hoping for a new pr. Didnt have the juice to ramp up after finishing Augusta for my first HIM.

Awesome! Are you doing the program exclusively or mixing in some training?

Just finished day 1. Ab ripper x is a beast as usual. Definitely helped loosen me up after the Savannah R'n'R Half I ran this past Saturday. Offseason? Not this year baby!!!

I did p90x while in retirement and enjoyed it. Now that I came out if retirement, I am doing insanity while training on the bike. It is as described but not a focused on strength vs cardio.
