Comments:

I did this course last year, had fun and enjoyed seeing runners I know. I wish I had beat that guy but other than that it was fine. I knew this wasn't the course to get my <22 on
What would you do differently?:

RACE the last 1/4 mile
Post race
Warm down:

same stuff, pace, drink water then found coffee as I started to get a chill

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My foot hurts, the sole and ankle area, a little tendonitis maybe a plantar issue too

Event comments:

No chip timing but this time the results were ready quickly and awards presented, nice medals

1-6:51, 7:37, 7:10, 1:00(?) A fast down hill start then some slower sections in the middle with a long uphill finish. I was passed by the the guy who won my age group in the last 1/4 mile-he looked young to me so I didn't race him-my mistake
