Subject: Phila Marathon question

Hi -

Anyone doing the Phila marathon or half this weekend?  I'm staying in Cherry Hill, NJ for the weekend and am headed over to the race on Sunday morning.  What's my best bet for getting there? Should I try to drive in and park somewhere?  Take PATCO from S. Jersey?  I can get to within about a mile of the start that way (15/16 & Locust).

Thanks for any advice.

Drive.  There are parking lots on Vine Street that are closer to the race start/finish area. The bridge basically dumps you onto Vine Street.  Take Vine Street, not 676 to get to the parking lots.  PATCO is not idea for this race.  Stations are too far from the start/finish (closest is 8th & Market - first stop after the bridge).

Thanks very much for the advice.  I grew up in S. Jersey, but I've been away from the area for a while. I've also never done this race and wasn't sure how much of a zoo it is on race day.
