Pre-race routine:

Set up the tent for my coaching business. Make sure my wife knew what do do at the tent during my run. Talk to my coached athletes who were running too.
Event warmup:

Warm up with an easy 3/4 mile run with my son who was running the 5K.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Fitness.

Event comments:

This series seems to be well-run. This was the first one I've done, but based on my experience here, I will likely do more events with them, both as a participant and a sponsor.

They went out of their way to make it a fun event with lots of awards. Top finishers received trophies that looked like Oscars, and the finisher medals were very cool.

I almost forgot:  My son was 3rd overall male in the 5K, and one of my coached athletes was 1st overall in the Masters division of the 5K.

The awards looked like this:
