Subject: Run training plan needed for an IM I am doing the IMAZ 2013. The longest that I have ever run was the 13.1 at the 2012 Timberman 70.3. t took me 2:12:58, and my quads were pretty tired at the end. I only ran up to 8 miles during training, so I wasn't surprised by the results. I know that I need to do more for a full, but I need a structured training plan. I'm not a great runner by any means, my 5K's are always at a pace of 8:30-8:45, that's just where I run at. So realistically, my IM time will be ~5 hrs, maybe more, if all goes well. I've read about a couple of plans on these forums, but I can't recall their names. Can anyone recommend a good IM run training plan? Thanks |
