Anyone have any insight when the Athlete Guide will be posted. They seem to be dragging their feet.

I know. How freaking hard is it to update the Athlete Guide. It's not like they have to write it from scarce.

Well, they are partially posted - unless waves 18-27 are all M35-39 and nobody younger is racing.

Have to admit, they seem a little slow on the draw this year.

If you head out at 3pm, you should be fine. The later it gets the worse traffic will be. Be prepared for a lot of stop & go traffic if you are still in Atlanta at 4:30. Once you get on I-20 heading east and get past I-285, you'll be clear.

Wanted to pass this along to anyone racing Augusta. TriAugusta club and the Saint Paul's church by the Augusta 70.3 swim start have teamed up to offer a Saturday night Pre-Race Pasta Dinner. A great chance to be with new and old friends! Bring your family! The location is perfect, on the Riverwalk adjacent to swim start and just a few steps from the Marriott and convention center.

More information at the link.

Hey everyone, we're getting closer. I'm deciding whether to run a disc or not. I'll run a Hed 60 up front and have a matching rear as well. Are there alot of ag'ers running a rear disc.

Next, parking. Does the garage fill up? I'm deciding whether to park there or if there is enough off street parking near the run course to make due.

Hope everyone is doing well and has a great race.

Augusta is a fast course...if you have a disc, bring it and make the determination at the last possible moment!

I'm hoping the parking garage doesn't fill up! I'm planning to use it!

Good luck to all! Two weeks away!

Last time we just parked over near transition and walked up to start. Wasn't that big a deal, and load out was easy.
Pretty bummed that there is no official swim practice. The athlete guide says swim practice in several pools in the area. That pretty much sucks. It was helpful last time to try wetsuit, test water current/temp. Not going to happen this time?
I guess with no swim practice we can stay out later friday night, haha.

As for parking, is there ample street parking or parking garages that will be open or available? Any info for those who've done this race before would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds like parking near transition and walking to the swim start is the best way to go? I assume they have pumps at transition to use in the morning?

Are there any organized swims on Friday or Saturday? I checked the Facebook page and threads here but have not seen anything.
