Subject: Shimano 10 speed hub or 11 speed?

Hi all,

Im ordering my set of Flo wheels tomorrow and I received an email from them that states you can order either Shimano 10 speed hub or 11 speed hub. The 11 speed hub will come with a spacer to convert it to a 10 speed hub. My bike is a Cervelo P2 and im not sure which one I need. I think I have a 10 speed now and if so is there any benefit in getting the 11 speed. Thanks.

get the 11 speed shimano/SRAM hub. That way, your wheels will be compatible with any future bike you get. If DA 9000 is 11 speed, it's only a matter of time before that trickles down to the lower gruppos in the shimano line. Also, SRAM has a new 11 speed mountain group so it's like that you'll see 11 speed road groups from them soon.

Thanks MikeK PA. Im planing on getting an 11-27 cassette also and maybe a Quark PM. Will the 11 speed hub be compatible with these also?
