Comments:

Nice run.
At the beginning, I got stuck behind two kids running together. I couldn't squeeze through them and if I tried to pass on either side, I'd most likely cut someone off or cause a collision. So I waited until I had a better opportunity to pass. Very annoying.
I made a point to slow down going up the hills. I got passed a lot doing this, but I was able to overtake those individuals who burnt themselves out attacking the hill.
What would you do differently?:

Start behind adults.
Post race
Warm down:

Quarter slice of apple, a bottle of water and walking with friends to the nearest warm vehicle :)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

No taper? I'd be interested to see what a taper would do on a 5K, but I have bigger races to train for!
