Not as big as TV, but I've been in several episodes of Behind the barriers. I think each season at least once. Not featured, but I've in the opening scene, background shots, and my voice (heckling jpow)

Yup. This also gives me a chance to show off kiddo who is now a 25 year old on his second tour of Afghanistan. We were brought in as representatives from the various services to dedicate a Desert Storm memorial. I got interviewed for about 5 minutes and something like 10 seconds of it actually made the TV, mostly of me talking about liking the cookies people sent

Iowaman - 2013-03-15 12:36 AM In 1997 I was on the TV show COPS and actually got in a pursuit that left Iowa and went into Illinois and back into Iowa. We caught the guys and all of the pursuit and takedown was shown on FOX. I have the tape and still watch once in a while.

For a second, I thought you were the one being chased.

I was interviewed by John Oliver at an Obama rally in 2008, but didn't make it on TV.

I caught a foul ball.  It was at a Milwaukee Brewers game.  They played the Seattle Mariners and the ball was hit by Jay Buhner.  We were sitting in a pretty open section at a night game and the ball bounced into the seats.  I was the first person there.

We went to PAX in 2008 and my DH was an Omeganaut, so he got interviewed for Wired and lots of other websites.  You can see us in a picture that was on the front page of Wired.

2x

1.  I was at a local radio station's Toga party after my cousin won tickets on the air.  The local news caught me and put on tv acting crazy in my toga and holding a beer.  That was interesting explaining at Church on Sunday Morning.

2.  There was a problem on the Commuter trains coming out of Downtown were delayed after a Locomotive ghost rided out of the yard and derailed on a bridge a few years ago.  Again I was caught in a bar waiting to be able to get out of the city.  This time I was interviewed and was much more polished!

Not TV that I recall but was in a newspaper article as the sole eye-witness to the identity of an armed bank robber who got away.

I was just pulling up to the curb in my car when I see this guy dancing around in a red cloud with cash flying everywhere.  He was trying to get the red dye bomb out of the bag of money.  I got out of my car as he dropped his pistol on the ground and took off running.  The police seemed more interested in whether I took any of the money than getting a description of the guy but I was the only one who saw him unmasked.

I was a little peezed at the paper because they gave my full name and hometown.  Like if the guy wanted to preserve his identity he was pretty much told who I was and where I lived.  They never caught the guy and he never came after me.  And I didn't take any of the cash.

bradleyd3 - 2013-03-14 4:06 PM Been on TV? Interviewed? Caught a foul ball? Suspect in armed robbery and on the news? Lets hear the stories......

My wife and I were married at a Philadelphia 76ers game on Valentines Day, 1998.  CNN used footage of me and the Mrs. so technically we were seen in lots o' countries.

We were interviewed in studio prior to the wedding on a Philly Sports show...we had a surprise guest visit us on camera...Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown gave us marital advice during our interview.

Clemson University...let's just say I am not a fan.  In '95, at a Cleveland Indians game at Jacobs Field...Alvaro Espinoza fouled back a ball, and due to some Clemson frat jerks who stole seats next to us, I was pushed out of a foul ball.  The good news is that they didn't get the ball...a dad with his little girls got the ball.  I was happy about that.  (btw, Hershiser, my all-time fav. pitched, and Rickey Henderson homered in the game, good stuff)

Many times as I was an auctioneer for the local PBS channel in Liverpool NY during their fund raising events.  Yep thats right, that guy that says, "now lets go to the board and see where we are, and now over to our wonderful volunteers working the phones".

Also, many radio interviews, and most recently an interview on the Senior TV Network as a participant and the VP of the Board of Directors for the Nevada Senior Olympics here in Las Vegas.

A typical sales person I guess, give me a microphone and get out of the way.

If that was anytime between '89 and '92 in Liverpool, I may have been one of those volunteers manning a phone!  Ha!  Small world.

UMass Cheerleader in the Final Four, Calipari, Marcus Camby era.

Some local charity stuff.

Now, I usually get lied about from local teacher unions that want to fight charter schools, but that is just in the printed media.

Oh, wait a minute. I was on this episode of Tour of Duty as one of the soldiers at a USO show. At the beginning, up to about 3:45, that's Wheeler Gulch on Wheeler AFB on Oahu, Hawaii. 3/22 Infantry. We spent the whole day there with takes and retakes. Whenever they pan over the crowd, I recognize someone else. That was fun:

I was on Monday Nite Nitro (wrestling show) on Dec 1 1997. I had a seat right on the isle where all the wrestlers would come out. I was shown several times but the longest shot was when Hollywood Hulk Hogan came out. He walked right over to me and starred me down. It was great. I probably shouldn't have said what I did to him but It got his attention.

I was interviewed by a local news station yesterday.  They're doing a story on my son's school.  We enrolled him in a language immersion kindergarten, where the teachers are all from China and only speak Chinese to the students.  By this time next year, my little man will be fluent in reading and writing Mandarin.
