A little more than a month out and only about 50 people registered. My training has been so poor lately that all I can think about are sprints, pool sprints are even safer. I'll probably register before the first anyway, but I'd prefer to have some company out there.

I think they raised the price too much given the increased race choices.

Fun race, but doing TOA BeaverDam Olympic the previous weekend, and can't swing cost of another race.  And yep, $60+ is a bit pricey for a super sprint.  BeaverDam will only cost me $47 after discounts.  I can "race" there, then spend the next 6 weeks dialing in for IMRal70.3.

One month before race day and I make number 56... I'll have fun either way.

I'm thinking about it - will probably sign up.  I'm in for Granite Falls already, but I'm disappointed the list is so short.  I thought it would fill up being a Setup Cup race.  TTS is going to dwindle away if this keeps up.

If TTS goes away, I would like to see some of the OWS races absorbed into the NC Triathlon series.

I registered for Riverwood today.  My first tri since 2006!

Anyone else who is attending interested in meeting up before the race somewhere?

It's been especially hard getting back into training this year, but I'm getting excited about Riverwood now. Still only about 90 signed up though. Hopefully they are all slow like me. Tongue out Once the numbers come out it should make meeting easier.

I'm in for Saturday morning.  The weather should be perfect!  I'll post up my bib number once the start times are posted (hopefully tonight).

No email yet, but I'm wound up enough I found it posted on their website. I'm number 83 starting at 8:23. That's an early start for me at Riverwood, too bad it's because the field is smaller and not me swimming faster. I may have to skip Bojangles' without the extra time for it to settle. Cool

I'm number 65, starting at 8:18.

There are only 6 online registered racers in my age group.  I've never been more than a middle of the pack finisher, but middle of the pack could earn me a medal this time!  LOL
