Subject: daily supplements, what are you taking and why?

I am currently taking the GNC sport multivitamin although I only take 1 pill a day instead of the 2 per day recommendation on the bottle due to its already high potency.

I take a daily 1500mg fish oil capsule and round out the daily supplements with an additional 2000iu of vitamin D.

What else are people using these days and why?

I take pretty basic stuff...

Morning: 400mg Magnesium and 1000mg Vitamin C(chewable)
Mid Day: 1 One-A-Day Men's Pro Edge Multivitamin
Evening: 400mg Magnesium and 1000mg Vitamin C(chewable)

GNC MegaMen Sport multi (only one instead of two - agree with OP about the high potency)
Two 300 mg Fish oil
One Horse Chestnut Seed Extract (300 mg - helps with my leg vein insufficiency)

Nothing.  Because when eating a balanced diet, there's no clear need for supplementation.  Often, it simply creates 'expensive' pee.

I take Centrum Silver.  My cardiologist has had me take it since my heart surgery in 2000.  I'm on Coumadin/Warfarin and have to restrict my intake of foods rich in vitamin K (primarily dark green veggies), so taking a multi-vitamin helps to make sure I'm getting everything I need.

Because of a post here I tried a probiotic and it is working wonders.  Other than that nothing but my morning bag of win.
