Subject: Some Inexpensive Wet Suits at KW Surplus

There are now wetsuits for sale at KW Surplus in Kitchener, ON.  I was surprised to see some Triathlon wetsuits up on display from Aquasphere and a couple other companies.  They are not the high end $800 suits, but just the baseline models.   They range from $70 bucks to a little over a $100 depending on the model.  Not bad if thats what your looking for and you know your size.  I don't know the quantities or how long they will have them in stock, but for the savings on these, just thought I pass it along if you happen to be in the area.

I checked it out today.  There are only two IM Aquasphere suits available in a ladies model... both very small... i would guess S and XS.  They are regular price $479 and on for $199.  The rest are much heavier wetsuits... i would guess for water sports, etc.

Wow. They went fast...thats crappy thats all they had left....

The only other places I know of in town that sell wet suits are All Wet Water Sports up in Waterloo, great lil shop they rent also for tri's with the option of buying the suit after;  and Groundhog divers, which is just down the street from KW Surplus.  Not a huge selection, but there prices are a bit cheaper or on par with All Wet.

I drove by All Wet this week picking up my husband from work and they are closed down. Don't know if they moved or what, but that location is not available anymore!  Their website is down too.

Xterra wet suits has a good promotion going on until May 6. Check their website. I bought one from them 3 years ago and used it at least 40 times and it only had a small tear that I repaired myself. I can't compare it with other wet suits since it's the only one I have used, but it fits me well and it's not expensive.

@JTOTPC, just FYI, I pulled into All Wet Water Sports today and they have completely closed up shop.  So i wonder if those KW Surplus wetsuits were theirs?

Thank you for your reply - Pilot e

Hope you find what you are looking for - I had an XTERRA and loved it but wanted to go back to full sleeves so just sold it to a teammate at the Burlington Tri-Club

Good luck searching - time is running out

happy training to all

Jean

New World Runners in Burlington has a fitting day on May 4, 2013 from 10 am to 12 pm - they are located on Plains Road West of IKEA

They will have reps from Aquasphere and Orca

Not sure about costs though
