Looks like I'm doing the Sprint. I was going to do the Int'l, but didn't realize my kids had soccer tourneys on Saturday.

This will be my first sprint since early 2012 and my first race as a 40-44. Should be fun!

See you ppl there!

The sprint! Time to go all out. I want to hear about blood or vomit!

(Glad to hear you're going to get to race)

Thanks d00d!

Well, the weather for the weekend looks awesome! High of 75 and low of 53 for Sat. We might even be chilly in the morning!

4/30/15:  The current water temperature in White Lake is 68 degrees.  An official temperature will be taken on race morning.  However, at this point, we do expect this to be a wetsuit legal race.

Fun race this weekend!
Temps were a little cool, but were perfect after the race.
My feet were numb for the entire bike and run! It was not so bad for the bike, but on the run it felt as thoughI was running on bricks!
I hope you guys had a good race and that your fitness is at a good spot.

A good race for me. Dood, you beat me by two spots, I was 16th OA. I had the same numb feet problem going into the run.

Did you think the swim was long? This was my first open water race. I sighted about every 4 strokes and was dead on. I have a hard time believing my ows times are 30s/100m slower than my pool times. My watch measured long, but I know how off they can be in open water swims. The overall trend seemed to be about 2 minutes slower than last year, with a few exceptions of course. Just wondering if anyone else thought the same.

Congrats on your race, man! Looks like you podium'd! Sweet!
I do think the swim was long. I'm slow in the water, but not that slow!
Our bike times were within a second!
I'll be there again in the fall...prob for the int'l, buy maybe for the sprint. It's such a good race and it's nice that it's so close.

Thanks for the kind words. You had a fast group! I need you to teach me how to run like that.. Killed it!

I probably won't be back in the fall, my wife and I have a marathon that next weekend and she is shooting for a BQ. But I really enjoyed the race and will be back next year!
