Comments:

Went out a bit too hard the 1st 100m, I was too pumped up! 1st 1/2, I was at 3:50....Got my jersey caught on a lane line cable go under it, no biggie. My time was more cuz I went out too hard that 1st half. Was :40 slower than last year!
What would you do differently?:

Maybe not start out so hard, 1st time I ever did that! Think the fact that I won this race last year, was kinda burning me up with the feva!!!
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

All transition time was in the bike portion, as usual. My transitions were ok today. Not as polished as I was last season, but getting back too it. Definitely didn't feel like a rusty ol' man today like I did @ Leadman 2 weeks ago!

Event comments:

Had a great race today! Shave 2:55 off the race from last year! Was pleased with the results, winning my age group last year then taking 2nd this year, I have to say, this race is becoming one of my favorites! Even though the bike course is a bit rough, it is still fast....
