Subject: Training log power values

Just a quick question.  I recently got a power meter.  When I upload from my 910XT to the training log, the power numbers don't import with it.  Any ideas as to why?

Thanks,

Shane

At the top of the BT page, click Settings - Training Log Settings - Log Defaults and enter your FTP in the Functional Threshold Power entry.

Go to your training log, but instead of uploading for the day, click upload on your main TL page (in the section Jump To).  Then it will pull in the overall ride values - but not the individual splits of power values.  Hoping they add that at some point.

no idea.  mine works.

but just something to try.  upload into Garmin Connect.  Then export the tcx file.  then import it into BT.  Does that work?

Thanks.  I added an FTP value so hopefully now it will import the power values from my Garmin.  I will try it on the next ride.

Appreciate the help.  I didn't even think that it might not look for power value without putting in an FTP.

It doesn't add a whole lot.  Just a few basic values for the entire ride, nothing on the lap data.  It's better than nothing though.

I you want meaningful analysis I'd look toward something really tuned to that - Training Peaks, Golden Cheetah, etc.

I do use goldencheetah.  I was just curious about why the value didn't import into the training log more than anything else.  Sometimes I'll look quickly at the training logs to see how I'm trending.  For actual analysis I do use the better software.
