Hi everyone! I am training for IM Zurich this summer.
I have been running consistently for 3 years (at least 4 times a week) and triathlon training for 1 year. Never had any injuries.
Since training for the full IM over the past couple of weeks I have noticed a feeling on the outer side of my ankle and in my big toe of the same foot. I did not want to use the word pain because at the moment it is not a pain but I can feel something there.
I have now for the past week stopped cycling and running and been focusing on stretching my achilles and icing at least once a day; currently there is no pain and luckly I have a swim focused week so won't have to run until later this week.
Has anyone else experienced something like this before, no pain right now but prevention is better than cure! Any ideas on what it could be? Any advice? Little worried about achilles tendonitis!!!! :-0
