Subject: 4 weeks to tri - very out of shape! Very overweight 57 yo female planning on attempting 2nd tri; completed 1st one a year ago - but I am very late and very inconsistent - I know that starting today I must train consistently. My only goal (again) is to complete it, but it would be nice to increase my speeds slightly. Planning on doing the last 4 weeks of the 3x per week balanced plan, but I don't know if it will be enough, since the final week before the race will be an "easy" week. Should I scratch plans for this tri, and schedule a different one later? Or just get off my rear and see what happens? |
