I thought everything was eligible for the dividend as its based on just the amount you have spent over the year. The things that seem to not be eligible are when using your 20% off coupons etc that they send out as well. I could be completely wrong on this though

Your refund is based on eligible purchases, which exclude REI-OUTLET.com items, sale and clearance items (prices ending in $._9 or $._3), items discounted 15% or more, gift cards, REI Adventures trips, REI Outdoor School classes and outings, sales tax, postage, mounting, engraving, labor, rental fees, lift tickets, government agencies and membership fee.

Me thinks that Garmin sales are flat and they are looking to move some stuff. Sale time.

I think Garmin might also be concerned that there is starting to be some real competition.  There has always been competing products but IMHO Garmin has been ahead.   Geeze I have almost every triathlon/running/biking model they offer.

mambos - 2013-05-13 8:07 PM iWatch that is waterproof and has GPS...I'm sold....better go count my beads now so I can be the 1st to wait in a 1/4 mile line to buy one! I am curious though to see what will be announced!

Or just a Motoactv that is waterproof.  Music, bluetooth, GPS - it has everything I want in a running watch except for seals to keep the darn thing from sucking in water.

Yea, I think for the 910 REI is the way to go, although I have also seen it at TriSports for the same price.

It looks like the 310 and maybe the 800 are better to get through Rays links at Clever Training.

Actually you should buy the 310, and RCX5 from me so I can go get the 910.

Amazon had the 910 (base only) only for $229 early this morning.  I ordered.  However, I'm expecting a pricing error email to hit my inbox any minute now because the price is now $299.

Hope you get it for the 229.  We have till the 27th to decide if we want to take advantage of the 299 price, or just wait it out.

REI will give you and additional $50 off if you trade in your 305. We have one that's been working pretty poorly so we might go this route and trade it in on a 910 for 249.

Yea there is a $50 mail in rebate with an older garmin that somehow benefits a charity. I think that works as long as you buy the watch from a retailer and not an online auction.

I think I can sell my 310 for more than 50 though. So I won't do that.

For real? I wasn't planning to buy anything since I JUST dropped 80 bucks to get my 305 refurbished (which was actually a straight up replacement with one that looks brand new).

THEN I saw the REI flyer for 299 and thought maybe just get it. If I get another $50 bucks off? That may seal the deal. However, the one I have is basically brand new so I have zero need for a new one.. BUT

Man, I hate decisions like this.

Sensei.......DO IT! Pull the trigger.

I just drove to my Local Tri Shop on my "lunch" and picked up a 910XT for my wife, who is just starting into tris.

Great...more couch time explaining how the silly thing works...maybe I'll bring it back. : )
