Hey I just bought some of that yesterday at Wally World.  I haven't tried it yet.  When you put it in your smoothie, did you add the water to it or just put it in dry?

I use this with apples quite a bit.  Not quite as delish as full fat PB, but a nice snack.  I just use the apple wedge to scoop it.  I've also made whole grain pancake PB2 and jelly with it.   (big bike or run day for that!)

I buy mine at netrition.com. Comes in plastic bottles or 'economy sized' bags. That's the cheapest I've found it thus far.

I don't understand... Why not just get real peanut butter? When I say real I mean peanuts and possibly salt, but not required.

There is sugar in this powdered PB.

Why not just buy the natural peanut butter, the kind where the oil is separated, the only ingredients should be peanuts and salt? You could pour off the oil if you didn't want the extra fat and just plan to use it in shakes etc.

The selling point is that it's much lower in fat, as in only 1.5 grams of it in two tablespoons.  The ingredients are only peanuts, salt and sugar.  And the total grams of sugar in two tablespoons is only 1 gram so there's obviously very little sugar added to it.

It's a tasty, lower fat version of peanut butter for those who would rather get their recommended daily amount of fat elsewhere.  It's much easier to travel with as far messiness, getting past TSA, etc.  Why not?

x2 it's great! Just went through my first jar. It's WAY easier adding to things like oatmeal, way less messy. And yummy.
