Subject: Double vision after swimming
Hey everyone,

I'm getting double vision after swimming...the longer the swim, the worse it is, but I even notice it after 500m. I'm certain it's the goggles I'm using, because they're pretty cheap, but is there anything specific I should look for in a new pair to prevent this? I'm a newbie, so I'm not looking to spend tons of money or anything, but I'm not fond of getting on my bike with double vision!

Thanks!

Sorry, I can't offer any personal insight, but I did find this old thread that may (or may not) be useful.

I used to get this when I first started in the pool. I'd get back to the office and the screen would be pretty blurry. I've since changed goggles to something with a bit more cushion and I haven't noticed it since.

I first decided I was going to "do" a triathlon in 1994. It wasn't until 13 years later, in 2007 that I actually did. Why did it take me 13 years to get to the starting line? The swim!
