I'm on my neighborhoods swim team and we have a vigorous 45 to an hour swim practice every day Monday - Friday but i 'm not sure how to enter that into my schedule

Do you not keep track of yardage? I enter total yards and total time. And sometimes the main set in notes

I've had some coaches who write it down (usually at indoor practices on a board) so I just add it up after practice. If not, the coach will usually know the total yardage for each workout--you can ask and enter it into your log after practice or (my habit) write it on your hand until you can enter it into your log. For master's swim, I usually record the total yardage if I know it and whatever sets I can remember. You can also start your watch every time you start swimming, stop when you stop for rests, etc. and record total time instead of or in addition to total yardage.
