Just read an article on the New Tribune that we will be finally getting a specialty running store downtown - South Sound Running. It looks to open up on July 1st

That's great. A good specialty store like this can do a lot for the community. Running club, races, clinics, group workouts, etc.

We have two up here and they are very active in promoting the sport.

Glad to hear it. We've had South Sound Running in Olympia for a long time. They do a great job of supporting the local running community and local races.

Thats great news! currently I have to use fleet feet in Bonney lake or Tacoma. They do a fine job but I am no where as comfortable with them as I was when using the Balanced athlete in Renton (I will still drive up to Renton just to get fit for new shoes at times - and buy a pair - since Eric and his staff have never steared me wrong yet).

I will definately take a look at south sound running.
