You got that right. My husband is from Iran. His brother came to stay with us for a while and thought that overall TP use is disgusting. They use something like a watering can and think it's a whole lot cleaner. I had to go out and buy one.

Aaron--OK, I don't have a lot of experience with this option, but walk me through this.  You got this bowl of water, it comes up and floods your azz post poo, water goes BACK INTO THE SAME BOWL, then you flush (but is any flush really complete?), and then the water sits there and festers until the next pooer uses it?  It's like the Amish Friendship Bread of poo that you're "cleaning" yourself with.

What am I missing on this one?

Kate--watering can idea sounds like it could have some distinct advantages over the bidet, except I'm just trying to imagine how I'd use a watering can on my azz to the point where it would really clean anything (without standing on my head or some other sort of extreme contortion).  I want a GIF of the Iranian watering can in action.  Hook me up :)

No worse than the super mega flush public toilets that always seem to spray a bit. Especially those durn automatic jobs that flush mid transaction cuz you shifted to far forward.

Loofa on a stick is all you need to know

But you had me doing the hand-over-the-mouth-to-surpress-the-laugh-so-my-partner-doesn't-think-remember-I'm-nutz with these comments!

OK--look at the tally "Unders". (I have no idea what happened to the formatting--it was fixed for 2 seconds.)

That's right with a whopping 75% of the vote, the "Overs" have it.

Go right ahead and do what you want in your own home "Unders", but know--know in your heart, your hand, and your butt--over is the only way to go.

Neither are very important unless you don't have any.

Or if they're bad.

It really can be too thin. And scratchy.

It can also be too thick. Too lotiony.

See...picky, picky, picky.

definetly over.  When I first got married, I did not give a flip about it.  My lovely wife has beaten that thought out of my head.  Beatings are usually at the hand of empty tp rolls and paper towel cardboard tubes.

We still use magazine pages. Although, you don't get a better wipe than with an old sock. Very absorbent..

I've always been an over but my wife insists that the roll be an under. Most mornings I'll switch it just to mess with her. I only do it in the mornings though when she's not quite on her game yet.
