Just a curtain rod with a couple shelves on top for awards that aren't your typical medal.

I spy a lot of the same races I've done! haha. Very cool display.

Not sure how creative it is and no photo as I'm traveling right now, but I have a couple of stuffed animals (toy water buffalo made by a woman's charity in Thailand) that wear my medals around their necks. I've been putting them around various stuffies since I was a kid.

I didn't steal them from you -- honest!

But I want to see your Vineman medal in a few weeks!

I cut off the ribbon and stick a magnet to the back. Voila, fridge magnet.

My hubby did this for a Christmas present for me last year. It was a great surprise and it's functional for the kids fridge art.

As the fog cleared, the buoy that I first saw earlier in the morning was just the first marker in a very long line of buoys that stretched across the lake like a runway for a 747 jetliner.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
