Cannondale Synapse.
Aluminum frame, carbon fork. Eyelets on the rear fork will accept a rack, if you want to also use it as a commuter.
Shimano 105 gruppo with triple crank in the front.
Includes Polar bike computer with cadence sensor and Heart Rate Monitor- take $75 off if you don't want it.
The color doesn't come out well but it's kind of a dark brown iridescent.
Made in the USA, one of the last Cannondales that can claim that. This bike is a few years old and is size M, which I would estimate to be 52-54. The seat is set up for me; I'm 5'9". It would definitely fit a smaller rider.
I bought this from a guy off of craigslist who had bought it on a whim and kept it in his garage after one ride, and I've only ridden it a few times. Just had it tuned up. I have since bought a Trek Lexa which fits me. It's a beautiful bike, just not for me.
Price includes CONUS shipping; I can knock some off for local pickup (Pittsburgh).

All of my road rash has healed, but my right shoulder is still in a lot of pain. I have started swimming, but only really, really light workouts. Do you have any recommendations on stretches?

I'm not sure if one of these models is better, both are from 2009 aluminum/carbon combinations. I realize this is a difficult question but any thoughts as which bike is better for a woman?
