peanutbutter and honey on bread. banana.
Event warmup:

Comments:

Jogged the whole way. Quick water pause at the turn around. Pushed enough to feel it, so that was good.

Warm down:

Walked around for a while. Drank water. Then had a bowl of clam chowder.

Great venue. Cheerful volunteers. Too long of a wait for the awards and drawings.

I went down to the beach the day before to scout out the course, and it was glorious...the sun was out, the sea was as smooth as glass, and only a hint of a breeze was blowing. “Perfect,” I thought.
