Subject: Eastern States 100 begins in 2014 - Northern PA
I am so psyched to see this news!

The best kept secret in trail running, Pennsylvania, is about to be put on the map for the rest of the world. The Eastern States 100 is scheduled for August 2014. Race directors from three other well-established events are combining efforts to make this happen.

It will be several years before I am able to do a 100 miler, so I will either be setting the goal of doing the promised marathon the same day, or at the very least, volunteering a an aid station. One way or another, I will be involved with the first running of this.
