I'll be running my first HIM this weekend (Vineman 70.3) and was wondering where the on-course clocks will likely be located.  Exit of T1 & T2, Mile xx of the run, Clocks - what clocks?

Clocks? My HIM this year didn't even have a sign in the transition area telling us which direction to run.

I didn't see one at MT 70.3 until the finish.

Both my bike computer and run computer have a data field on one screen that has the actual time of day.  I just did the math to know my elapsed time.

I just did EagleMan in June and I only remember one clock exiting the swim and one clock at the finish.  If there were others, I didn't see 'em.

I've done 8 70.3's 3 IM's and I only recall seeing a clock at the finish line.   The clock starts with the male pro race so it won't be the correct time due to the wave starts.

For Full Vineman they are at swim exit and finish line.  I'm guessing the same for the 70.3

It’s a challenge to push yourself a little harder and a little further. Be proud of every workout that is accomplished and every step-even the baby ones-that you take on this course to the finishline.

Experts agree, doing a “mock,” triathlon on the course you’re racing can aid you in your training; performance and most of all quell some nervous energy.
