Invite to KS BT'ers

OK, I've hesitated to do this because I don't want to annoy anyone, however I wanted to invite everyone here.

You may, or may not know, that I fund raise for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I rarely mention this (other than my signature line) because I am mainly here to learn about the sport from other, more experienced, athletes.

However, it is a cause that is important to me.

I'm hosting a Happy Hour this Wednesday night at the Burg & Barrel in Overland Park from 6-8pm. There will be food and drink specials and we're selling $10 tickets to be entered into a number of drawings. I've gotten some great sponsorship from 810 sports, 610 sports, Wells Fargo, etc who have donated some great prizes: Royals tickets, gift certificates, etc.

If you were planning to eat on Wednesday night, or have a beer, please consider visiting me on Wednesday night. All the money raised will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. There is a group of triathletes training for the Nations Triathlon in Washington DC in September that are collaborating on this.
