Hey everyone!

If you were on Cactus road yesterday around 92nd street and you saw a girl fall over on her bike from almost a dead stop, that was me (your welcome for the entertainment).
I got a distracted and when I tried to clip out, my foot got stuck and over I went .
Fortunately, other than a few scrapes and aches, I'm thankful that nothing else major was damaged on my poor body (quite sore today though).

Unfortunately, my bike did sustain some damage and I'm wondering what to do next. It is an older version carbon fiber Trek Madone that now has a few new dings in the frame (fell onto a curb) and I think I damaged the derailer (went over on the right side). It was making all sorts of noise on my ride home.

Any recommendations as to what bike shop to take it to for a assessment of the damage? I live in central Scottsdale and was thinking Bicycle Ranch, but would love any other suggestions. Thanks so much!

After quite a few years of uneventful riding, I figure I was due for a fall, just thankful it wasn't anything more serious! Be careful out there!

Ouch! Glad you're OK.

I go to Landis Cyclery in Tempe and love them! Great people there.

BR is good as well as Landis on Shea if those are closest your area. Otherwise I'm always going to point someone towards my friends at Tribe Multisport in Old Town off Miller and Indian School

Take your bike to Tribe. They're awesome and extremely fair. They didn't even charge me the last couple times I've taken my bike in for repairs...

This is true. I can't count the number of times I've walked in and then out without being charged. Definitely owe those kids some beers!

Thanks! I've been to Tribe for various things and it's quite convenient location wise. Have had a few tune ups there on the same bike - so as long as they don't make fun of it (being old) like last time, I just may take it back ;-).

Thanks for the suggestions!

Funny you say that. Last time I was in, they gave me a beer while I was waiting on my bike. I'm planning on bringing a 6-pack next time I'm in.

I'm a Tribe fan as well. Talk to Glenn or Myles, tell them Sedona Tim sent you. It probably won't get you a discount or anything, but you never know

Thank you all so much! Took it into Tribe today and other than a few minor adjustments and cosmetic damage, the bike is good to go! They were great!
Even replaced a bar end plug I was missing :-)!

I hadn't been in the shop in a while, but they were very nice!!

Thanks for the recommendation!! Road bike is good to go for this weekend :-)!

Awesome stuff! They really are great people. Heck, I just ran 37 miles with Julie yesterday.
