I'm really looking forward to this. I've actually been "training" which I haven't done since, oh, 2009!

MrsAK will be doing Lakefront Discovery.

Wait...who are you?

He's Peter from Alaska! ( No idea why he's in the Wisconsin forum... )

FWIW, I'm in the Half.  Whizzzzzz may or may not accompany me up to heckle/cheer.  We'll see on that.

GOOD LUCK to those racing the Tyranena Beer Run this weekend!

My condition won't allow me to move about, so I'm sorry that I won't be there cheering you folks on.

Believe me, I am very sad that I can't make it.  I really wanted to support you runners and drinkers.

Slam one for me, please!!

EEEEAAAAAWWWWWW!!!!

I can train for half marathons on pavement and on trails, but as soon as I change it up to gravel or loose dirt my knee swells and the pain it causes is unreal. Any ideas why this happens?

Steady is our walk. Ignoring the pain that is radiating from my feet, I continue to place one foot in front of the other. Again I wonder, “Why am I doing this?”
