Not trying to be creepy or anything, but I am looking for a triathlete in Edisto Beach, SC. You see...

My family and I will be traveling to Edisto Beach this weekend and I was on Garmin Connect in search of some routes to ride. I found what seems to be a triathlete who may live on the island. My thoughts were to meet up with this person for a couple of workouts. Their username on Garmin Connect is GVegasLeech. Just trying to plan ahead. Okay, hopefully noone thinks this is totally creepy. My wife prefers that I don't ride alone and any time I can ride with another individual or a group, I'm much better off. If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Thanks!

He posts here on BT some, and he lives in Greenville. I think he was on vacation there a few weeks back which is why the workouts are showing up.

Thanks for the heads up. Yep, was only there on vacation. We group up going to Edisto, but haven't been back since I picked up my new addiction. Will be fun to ride on the island! Thanks!

I went down to the beach the day before to scout out the course, and it was glorious...the sun was out, the sea was as smooth as glass, and only a hint of a breeze was blowing. “Perfect,” I thought.

As a triathlete, there is one acronym that you just can’t fathom ever having next to your name in a race report – DNF: DID NOT FINISH.
