I will be at the Candlewood Suites....I-20 & River Watch Parkway... with my wife. They do not provide a shuttle. She can drop me off but then needs to find parking. How difficult will it be to find parking within 1/2 - 1 mile T1? Any suggestions will be appreciated!!

if you go early, not a problem at all off east boundary area ASSUMING shes ok walking around the course which means 3mi to mid point of run from parking. i bring a road bike when spectating to get around easier.

+1 'bring a bike'. Downtown Augusta is flat. Transition to finish is 1.5(?) mile. A beach cruiser with a basket would be perfect spectator mobility / entertainment. The streets will be busy with people, but not like rush hour traffic.

I just finished the NYC marathon on Sunday and I think I'm going to venture into triathlons. I am doing an Olympic distance and I want to do a 70.3 next year too. Any advice?

Some mistakes I made during the Hawaii Ironman 70.3. Don't be caught out on the course not knowing how or not having the equipment to change a flat tire.

It was the morning of Ironman Newfoundland 70.3, I felt queasy. I didn't want to eat or drink anything. I had a full blown case of the pre-race HEEBEE GEEBEES.
