I am in need of some new triathlon shorts and am looking for the best place around the Baltimore area to go as far as price and selection. Any suggestions? Anyone suggest a decent tri short that I might be able to get offline? I am looking to do my first Half in October and my good pair of tri shorts are a little too big since I have lost some weight and I don't think they would be great to race in.

I got some stuff at Race Pace Bikes in Columbia - it was a bit of a drive for me because i'm on southern MD - but worth it - they were one of the few places that actually had a one piece in stock to fit me

Race Pace has Baltimore and Owings Mills locations as well. Princeton also has a Baltimore location that may be more convenient.

They may not have a great selection, but I know REI has started carrying triathlon gear. Might want to call your local store and double-check before making the trip.

I am not going to buy a tri-suit before my first tri - I want to make sure I am going to stick with this before I spend a lot of money on it so I want to figure out what will work best.

I couldn't believe that my splits kept getting lower! I started to run harder after I passed the "5 km" sign and picked a few people that I wanted to pass.
