I'd love to have you virtually accompany me, and I shall think of you and pray for you as well, during a race segment.

You don't have to be awake for that segment; you can do your bit ahead of time or even after if you forget! for I believe Spirit knows no limits.

Track me live SAT AUG 31 starting 7:30am UTC +9hr, #1550 www.ironman.com/triathlon/coverage/athlete-tracker.aspx Japan.

I will try to accommodate all specific requests but first come, first serviced ... err, served.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT YOU.

I am in. With little training I am inspired to sign up for the Detroit Half Marathon now. Just pulled the trigger and got my entry.

I hate running but you can think of me at the 13.1 mile mark of the run and I will pray to superpoof she watches over both of us for our races.

Yanti, I'd be honored to accompany you on your race and throw my support into it.  I believe in the power of prayer and you have always had mine as I've followed your journeys.

That's what you said LAST time!

And you fit fine there and the riding was great, so you kept your slot.

I gots to sleep now--11pm for a 5:30 wakeup for a 2hr hill ride--but here's the current lineup.

I'm taking doubles for the swim and run, so have at it if you like.

Can I have the first swim segment? I'd love to be a part! (and I swam D1- so hopefully I can help with some good swimming Karma headed your way- just don't be dumb and sprint the start like I usually do- keep it smooth and steady- and don't forget to sing to yourself.)

I'll be a add'l support!! I have no idea when I'll be awake during the race...so I will just let you know that when I'm awake after3:30 pm a(here)... I will be tracking & thinking of you!!

Little one normally has been waking up around 1:30 am...so that would be about 5:30 pm in Japan. You'll have a mini BTer thinking of you too!! When she is moving her legs and arms in her sleep that night...I know she'll be dreaming of racing next to Wondress/Yanti!!

AWWWW!

You added me without me having to ask first! I was debating between the first and last mile, but I see it has been chosen. And I have this advice for you: In the last mile, don't be tempted to muscle through it. Make sure you have the right rhythm between muscle activation and relaxation.

And Yanti is a paralympic coach? Awesome!

I'm not quite half way into my IM training. I just raced a sprint and on Monday I woke up and felt like I'd been drugged! Not sore, just incredibly fatigued.

It makes no sense to train hard for a year to hone that aerobic system only to have all that training undermined by a few anaerobic bursts on race day. So, how do you go about it?
