Subject: where do you ride? weston, ft lauderdale area

I may be going to Plantation this weekend and am suppose to get a long bike ride in this weekend.  I grew up in the area, but it's been years since I rode my bike there.  Anybody have any nice routes?  I understand Weston is bike friendly, but don't know any routes.

Thanks for any ideas!

I ride this 10mi loop every Sat morning. I park my car at the park, across the street from the Y swimming pool.

Goto Weston.  Good riding outt here. There is a park where there is  a YMCA that is a palace.  Lots of good riding outthere before 10 am

Thanks all, I actually rode over labor day.  Rode from Plantation to and around Weston and back.  Definitely nice roads in Weston.

I own both a road bike and a tri bike. I am wondering which bike I should be riding during off season training, or does it matter?

I quickly browsed an article in Men's Health that talked about doing a triathlon, and how it wasn't really that hard. With a "tsk!" I quickly turned the page while thinking, "Yeah, right!"
